MS Dhoni has said that the Chennai Super Kings would definitely try to get the ace spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin, to the CSK camp. The Chennai Super Kings will be making a comeback to the Indian Premier League after having endured a two-year ban for spot-fixing.

The Chennai Super Kings retained MS Dhoni along with Suresh Raina and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. This already looks like a deadly combination and the CSK would want to make a great team around MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina.

Speaking at a promotional event for India cements MS Dhoni said, “With Ashwin you know we had done the same thing in the past. We will definitely go for him in the auction. Ashwin definitely being a local lad, we would want a lot of local lads to be a part of the Chennai Super Kings.”

“We have two right to match options but we have already retained three Indian capped players, I don’t think we can use it. We will have to buy him out in the auction.”

MS Dhoni, the skipper of the CSK further added, “Ashwin will come first in the auction for us. But we will have to wait and watch.”

Certainly, MS Dhoni is quite determined to have Ash by his side and he has already hinted that the CSK would be eyeing Ashwin as one of their first buys in the auctions that begin soon.

The IPL auctions will begin on January 27 at Bangalore and will go on until January 28. All the franchises are busy in shortlisting the players that they would want to go for and they have been on their toes. Even fans are eagerly waiting to see as to which all players are bought by their favorite teams.
