Senior India cricketer Dinesh Karthik is currently in Dubai, where he is part of Team India in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022.
But, a cryptic Twitter conversation between Dinesh Karthik and his wife Dipika Pallikal, who is an Indian squash player, has got everyone excited and intrigued about what the duo is up to.
Dipika Pallikal is Dinesh Karthik’s second wife
On Thursday, September 2, both Dinesh Karthik and his doting wife Dipika Pallikal took to Twitter at the same time – 3.29 PM IST – to tweet each other’s names. Nothing else, but they just tweeted each other’s names: “Dinesh” and “Dipika”
This was really something unusual fans have ever seen from a celebrity couple.

This could perhaps be an ad campaign from the couple, or just two people showing their love and affection of each other.
Dipika is DK’s second wife. The Tamil Nadu cricketer was previously married to Nikita Vanjara in 2007. But the marriage fell out as Nikita fell in love with DK’s India and Tamil Nadu teammate, Murali Vijay.
Karthik then met Dipika Pallikal when both were training together and got close to each other. The pair got engaged in November 2013 and they married in traditional Christian and Hindu ceremonies in August 2015. The couple became parents to twin boys, Kabir and Zian on 18 October 2021.

Karthik has become an inspiration for all those who are struggling to get into the Indian team. After being dropped in 2019, Karthik has now made a terrific comeback to India’s T20 side in the role of a specialist finisher, at the age of 37.
Batting for RCB, Karthik had smashed 330 runs at a strike rate of 183 in the IPL 2022, following which he was called up to the Indian team. He bagged two Man of the Match awards then, against South Africa and West Indies.
He’s been picked over Rishabh Pant in the Asia Cup 2022. But, Karthik has got to face only one ball on which he scored a single against Pakistan and didn’t get to bat against Hong Kong.
