Tonight the match was won by Kolkata Knight Riders beating Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets at the very famous Eden Gardens of Kolkata. The match was very crucial for both  Rithe teams. Before the match started, Rajasthan Royals were invited to bat first by the home team as they won the toss and chose to ball first.In the first innings, the bowlers of Kolkata Knight Riders gave an impeccable performance as they didn’t let the players of RR score a huge total at the scoreboard.
The openers of Rajasthan Royals made a nice start to the first innings. Joss Buttler scored  39 runs off 15 balls, while on the other hand, Rahul Tripathi scored quick 27 runs off 15 balls. Jaydev Unadkat scored 26 runs in 18 balls he played. KKR bundled up all the players of RR within 19 overs with them scoring a total of 142 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav took four big wickets today and changed the course of the match. Andre Russell and Prasidh Krishna both of them took two wickets each.
The second innings started off with a power-packed performance from Sunil Narine who scored quick 21 runs off 7 balls, however his wicket came as a big blow to the team as he was in a very great form tonight. With the strike rate of 300, he smashed 2 fours and 2 sixes. Chris Lynn, on the other hand, scored 45 runs off 42 balls.

Nitish Rana scored 21 off 17 runs. The skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders, Dinesh Karthik remianed unbeaten till the last ball, he scored 41 off 31 runs. Andre Russell scored 11 off 5 balls. The runs were chased wonderfully by the KKR players.

Ben Stokes of Rajasthan Royals, gave a brilliant performance and took three big wickets today. However, the other bowlers couldn’t stop the players of KKR from chasing the total runs.
