Virat Kohli led team Inda thrashed the England cricket team by an innings and 25 runs on the 3rd day of the just concluded 4th Test match to complete a 3-1 series victory on Saturday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With this victory, team India has qualified for the finals of the ICC World Test Championship. The Indian cricket team will now play against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand at the Lord’s Cricket Ground on June 18.
The Indian cricket team gave a stunning performance and outclassed England with both the bat and ball inside 3 days. Resuming the day on 294 for 7, team India added another 71 runs on Day 3, thanks to the stunning performances by Washington Sundar and Axar Patel, who helped team India to post 365 runs in their first innings and taking a lead of 160 runs.
England cricket team needed an improvised batting performance in the second innings however, they ended up disappointing everyone after they were bundled out for 135 runs in the final session. While Axar Patel picked up yet another five-wicket haul, on the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin also grabbed 5 wickets for team India.
