On Tuesday evening, Sachin Tendulkar uploaded a beautiful video on social media that has got the fans smiling and left them in nostalgia.
On this way from Mumbai to Pune, Tendulkar’s car was struck in traffic where he, sitting alongside Kiran More, listened to some melodious songs in their car. Both Tendulkar and More are part of the Mumbai Indians coaching staff for IPL 2022.
The legendary batsman took to Twitter to share the video. “Stuck in traffic while heading to Pune. Thought of listening to this lovely song!” he captioned the video, in which both he and More are tuning themselves to the mellow lyrics of Mi Dolkara Daryacha Raja sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Hemant Kumar. He also wrote two lines from the song in his caption.
In the video, at the 39th second, you can find the great batter himself singing exquisitely.
Here’s Sachin Tendulkar enjoying his drive to the beautiful song:

Fans were sent into recollecting this old song and they enjoyed it along with Sachin Tendulkar.

“Reminds me of my childhood, really miss old aamchi Mumbai. Those were the times when we would see, Maharashtrian traditional fetas, beautiful Shivaji’s Jayanthi, and superb rainfall, that would last for days nonstop. Wish we could get those days back,” commented a Twitter user.
“Legendary song by Hemant Mukherjee,” said another.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians will do good taking some advice from Sachin Tendulkar as the 5-time champions have had another slow start to their IPL campaign and are in the lower half of the points table. Rohit Sharma’s side was downed by Delhi Capitals in a game where they looked on course for a victory; then Jos Buttler’s blazing century put them in the ground.
Next, they take on a favourable opposition: Kolkata Knight Riders, whom they have defeated 22 times while conceding only 7 losses. The match begins on Wednesday evening in Pune.
