It has been a few days since the out of the favor Indian batsman Murali Vijay grabbed the headlines when he picked the name of the Australian woman cricketer Ellyse Perry as one of the two players he would like to go on a date with.
Well, recently, amidst the Coronavirus pandemic Murali Vijay went live on his Instagram with his IPL franchise. It was during the live session when the discarded batsman Murali Vijay was asked to name the two players with whom he would like to go on a dinner and he was quick to name Ellyse Perry, saying that the cricketer is very beautiful. He had said:
“Ellyse Perry. I want to have dinner with her. She is so beautiful,”
He had also picked Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan as the second person he would like to go on dinner with. He had said:
“And Shikhar Dhawan any day. He is a fun guy. Just that he will speak Hindi and I will be conversing in Tamil,”
Well, his answer raised many eyebrows and soon he was trending on social media, with fans trolling him. Some of the people even asked Ellyse’s husband, who is a Rugby star Matt Toomua, to be careful of Murali Vijay because of his history.
N0w, during a live session on Sunday, with TV presenter Ridhima Pathak, Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry finally responded to Murali Vijay’s comment. Ellyse Perry was told by Ridhima Pathak about Murali Vijay’s desire of going out on dinner with her, to which the cricketer came up with a hilarious reply, she said:
“I hope he’s paying.”
She added:
“That’s very kind of him. I’m flattered”
