England batsman Ben Duckett’s tweets from the past about Virat Kohli and RCB have gone viral in which he said they are a joke.

Currently playing a Test series in India, Duckett’s tweets from as back as 2013 have been dug out by fans. He recently came into the firing line of MS Dhoni and CSK fans for making a disgusting tweet about Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi.

Now, it is the Virat Kohli and RCB fans who have launched an attack on the left-handed England opener for his derogatory and mocking tweet about the superstar player and the franchise.

In March 2019, Ben Duckett replied to a tweet, asking if Virat Kohli is “a joke?”

Before that in 2018, the RCB teams as a joke after a game against KKR at the Chinnaswamy, RCB failed to defend 176 as Andre Russell provided a stunning finishing touch to the chase.

Then Duckett tweeted, “RCB’s team is a joke.”

Virat Kohli, Ben Duckett

Ben Duckett has been performing decently in the series against India. He has gotten off to quickfire starts but the left-hander has failed to convert any of it into a big score. All of his four innings in the series so far have been of over 20 runs and two more than 35, but he hasn’t reached a single fifty yet. His strike rate of 97, though, is the best among the England batters.

Will Virat Kohli return for the third Test against England?

There has been no confirmation until now about Virat Kohli. After the Vizag Test, head coach Rahul Dravid said that the selectors will talk with Kohli about his availability. According to a report in Cricbuzz, Virat Kohli is “believed to be abroad due to a family emergency.”

A couple of days ago, Kohli’s friend AB de Villiers revealed on his YouTube channel that Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, are expecting their second child, and that’s why he took leave from the first two Tests.
