EXPLAINED: New Format And Groups From Schedule Matrix Of IPL 2022

IPL 2022: After a long wait, the Indian Premier League finally revealed its new format today. From this year, there will be 10 teams competing against each other in the cash-rich league.

As per the new format, all these 10 teams will play a total of 14 league matches (seven home as well as away), followed by four playoff matches. Each team will be playing against five teams twice while facing the remaining four teams only once.
