Has Krunal Pandya Retired From All Forms Of Cricket?: Mumbai Indians, who boasted of a number of match-winners in the team, have finally announced the names of the retained players ahead of the upcoming IPL 2022 mega-auctions.

The skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma was the obvious choice for retention as he is the most successful skipper in the IPL history, having won the IPL title five times. Apart from him, Mumbai Indians also included their main all-rounder Kieron Pollard, sensational bowler Jasprit Bumrah, and talented middle-order batsman, Suryakumar Yadav.  The team has decided to release the rest of the players for the upcoming IPL 2022 mega-auctions.

Krunal Pandya, who became an integral part of the team over the years with his hard work and dedication, was one of the players who were released by the franchise ahead of the mega-auctions.

Meanwhile, amidst all this, a letter signed as Krunal Pandya has gone insanely viral on social media, which states that Krunal Pandya has decided to bid adieu to cricket as he has decided to retire from all formats of cricket.

The image went viral moments before the IPL 2022 retention ceremony kickstarted. It has to be noted that the all-rounder recently announced his decision to step down from captaincy n of the Baroda cricket team ahead of the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy. Though, he has stepped down from the captaincy position but will continue to provide his services as a player to the team.

Talking about the viral letter of Krunal Pandya, it states that since he was not retained by Mumbai Indians he has decided to say goodbye to the game of cricket.

This letter is hilarious but is not penned by the Baroda cricketer Krunal Pandya. The widely circulated letter is fake and was first shared by a parody account of the cricketer. Though the original tweet has been deleted by the parody account the screenshot of the Tweet and the letter has been making rounds on the internet.
