India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is once again receiving criticism after failing to give the best of his abilities on day 2 of the ongoing 1st Test match against England. Several questions were raised on Pujara’s place in India’s Test squad ahead of the five-match Test series against England and the way he has started the series, the questions will only increase.
Pujara walked out to bat at number three after Lunch and walked back to the pavilion quite early. The right-handed batter was given LBW off the stunning delivery of Ollie Robinson, however, DRS saved him at that time. In the replay, it was seen that the ball would be missing the bails. However, the good luck for Pujara didn’t last for too long as James Anderson soon managed to get him out.
The ball pitched and moved a little bit, it touched the edge of Pujara’s bat. Pujara didn’t move towards the ball instead sideways. The ball was eventually caught by Jos Buttler as he went out after making only four runs.
Meanwhile, fans were left disappointed with the performance of Cheteshwar Pujara and started trolling him left, right and center. There were many who came up with hilarious memes and jokes while trolling the cricketer.

Apart from Pujara, Virat Kohli also gave a poor performance as he was dismissed on a golden duck. Ajinkya Rahane too was dismissed scoring a single-digit run only. India ended the day with a score of 125/4 and is currently trailing by 58 runs.
