The Indian cricket team led by Shikhar Dhawan is currently locking its horns with the Sri Lankan cricket team in the ongoing 2nd ODI match. After having struggled to take wickets in the first ten overs, the Indian cricket team finally got their first breakthrough in the 14th over of the innings all thanks to the brilliance of spin master Yuzvendra Chahal.
In the first ODI, Yuzvendra Chahal strongly started the series for team India by picking up two crucial wickets. He had dismissed opener Avishka Fernando, who was looking threatening in the first ODI match.
Now in the ongoing 2nd ODI match, Chahal gave a much-needed breakthrough to team India after team India struggled to pick wickets, all thanks to the poor fielding done by the Indians. However, Sri Lanka’s fortunes ran out in the 14th over when Bhanukachipped a full-toss from Yuzvendra Chahal straight to the short mid-wicket fielder, Manish Pandey, who didn’t make a mistake in taking that catch.
While the first wicket was pure luck for Chahal, the second wicket was anything but that. In the very next ball, Chahal struck again and dismissed Bhanuka Rajapaksa, with the help of Ishan Kishan, who took a fine catch. A few overs later, Chahal bowled Wanindu Hasaranga and made him walk back to the pavilion after scoring only 16 runs.
