Fans Are Slamming Australian Cricketer Alyssa Healy After She Took A Jibe At Team India

Indian cricket fans are trolling Australian cricketer Alyssa Healy, who took a dig at the Indian cricket team after reports emerged that the Indian cricket team is not at all happy with the facilities provided to them at the hotel they are staying in Brisbane.

As per the reports issued by TOI, the Indian contingent talked about the hotel highly and termed the quarantine life at the hospital as a ‘prison for all practical purposes.’ As per the Indian contingent, the quarantine situation has also forced the Indian players to be in desperate situations such that they will have to clan their own rooms and even toilets as well.

Following India’s complaint about the restrictions imposed on them, Australian women’s cricketer and the wife of Australian pacer, Mitchell Starc, Alyssa Healy, stirred controversy as she took a dig at the Indian cricket team.

Healy took to her social media and claimed that the Australian and New Zealand’s women’s teams were also quarantined in the same hotel last year and they survived. She wrote:

“the Aus and NZ women’s teams did their quarantine in the same hotel last year. Here’s a shock – we survived….”

The tweet went viral in no time and was enough for the Indian fans to be raged as fans came down hard on Alyssa Healy. Fans are slamming Alyssa left, right and center and have also dragged her husband and cricketer Mitchell Starc.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:

Calm down, mate. They haven’t won any cricket lottery, they are here on merit. As for the IPL, watch the Australian cricketers queing up with their tongues hanging out, waiting for the riches…

Were u in the bubble and away from home for over 4 months before the quarantine too?

She won’t reply to a befitting answer?

She is angry because her husband is beaten left right and center on the pitch. Poor guy couldn’t even pick tailenders’ wickets in last game

Half of the Indian team is broken, many cricketers are not able stand and walk after SCG match, they haven’t asked you anything other than ‘hygiene’ !
When it comes to mental health concerns, does it applies to Maxwell & Pucovski only ?

— Vinyaasa (@VinyasaG) January 13, 2021

Of course Australia players will agree to live even on streets as they are under so much pressure to win the series at their own home where a weak Indian team are holding them to 1-1

— Avinash (@_Avinash_937) January 13, 2021

With same protocols and for a test match where u will slog in ground for 7 hrs and come back to room to do everything by yourself? Specially when half of the team is injured and pool recovery session is a must? Expecting a reply here @ahealy77 .

Next time Aus tours India, set them up in some of the shady hotels in the cities rather than the swanky facilities they enjoy in India, we will see if they whinge or not.

Popular commentator Harsha Bhogle also took to his Twitter and gave a sensible reply to the Australian cricketer. He wrote:

“Trent, Alyssa, my feeling is that these are quotes picked out of a larger conversation. Everyone is on edge and I think the key is what they were promised versus what they were delivered. These are stressful times for everyone. Let us all cut each other some slack.”
