Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi stirred controversy during the second T-20 match in the ongoing series between Bangladesh and Pakistan after he inadvertently, injured left-handed batter Afif Hossain Dhrubo during the game after being hit for a six on the previous ball.

The controversial incident took place during the ongoing between Pakistan and Bangladesh, after the second delivery of the third over, which was smashed off to the stands by the Bangladesh player. In the next ball, as the batsman was able to defend the ball back to the bowler, an enraged Afridi, who was still digesting the six he got in the previous delivery, turned around and flung the ball at the batter.

Even though the batsman was well-within the crease and had shown no intention of sneaking a single, but Afif was hit on his ankle by Shaheen Afridi.

Afif was seen lying down on the ground after copping with a blow from Shaheen Afridi, who almost was seen immediately walking down the pitch as he sought his apology for his questionable behavior. Following this, the player was halted temporarily as the Bangladesh physio cuttled towards the pitch to tend to look into the matter.
