Fans Are Trolling Rohit Sharma After He Throws Away Strong Start Again

Indian batsmen have put a shaky start on Day 2 of the ongoing fourth and the last test match at the Gabba. Once again the Indian openers — Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill– threw away a dominant start on Day 2 of the ongoing fourth Test match at the Gabba.

Though, the day kickstarted on a positive note for team India as they were able to wrap up the Australian lower-order. However, the hosts were bowled out for 369 runs before the Lunch break and will be hoping for their bowling department to perform against India.

And this is exactly what happened as the visitors lost two crucial wickets early. Though, both the Indian openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma gave a solid start to the game, however, soon their partnership came to an end after Gill was dismissed on 7 runs to Pat Cummins.

Later, Rohit Sharma tried to hold onto his wicket and tried to bring back the momentum with Cheteshwar Pujara. Sharma alongwith Pujara tried to steer India away from trouble after the early wicket of Shubma Gill. However, Rohit Sharma has thrown away a dominant start yet again.  Rohit looked all set for a big inning as he patiently played out the fast bowlers and smashed the bad deliveries, however, he was trapped by Lyon and was dismissed after scoring 44 runs.

Infact, in the previous match in Sydney, Rohit became the victim of a similar wicket, after Pat Cummins offered a short-pitched delivery to Rohit and he eventually threw away his wicket.

Meanwhile, fans on social media are trolling Rohit for throwing away his wicket after a good start once again. Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:

Only Rohit Sharma can stop himself from making a big score and we saw in the last three innings in Australia.

One of Kohli’s many talents is that he rarely, if not never, throws his wicket away. Once set, almost always makes it count, and makes the bowler work for his wicket. Something Rohit Sharma must emulate if he is to cement his place as opener. #AUSvIND

Needless. Needless. Rohit Sharma is Senior Rishabh Pant.

Rohit Sharma’s scores as a test opener :

176 , 127 , 14 , 212 , 6 , 21 , 26 , 52 , 44 .

Fair to say , he was made for opening be it any format of the game .

From ecstasy to agony: Rohit Sharma’s story of the series so far. Looked set to get a big one in all three innings #AUSvsIND

That’s been the story of Rohit Sharma’s Australian tour so far: he has looked completely at home till he has got himself out. #INDvAUs

After some really beautiful drives & cuts, when Rohit Sharma seemed completely in control – out of nowhere, a big irresponsible slog. He was dominating in Brisbane, threw it away. ?@ImRo45 #AUSvsIND
