Fans Are Trolling Sanjay Manjrekar Ahead Of The ODI Series Against SL

Former Indian cricketer turned Sanjay Manjrekar is known for speaking his mind however he often gets in trouble because of his analysis. It was during the 2019 ODI World Cup when Manjrekar stirred an ugly controversy by citing that the Indian all-rounder is still a ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer.

Over the years, Sanjay Manjrekar has developed a strong love and hate relationship with Indian cricket fans. Therefore, recently, when Sanjay was named in the list of commentators for upcoming India vs Sri Lanka limited series, fans started trolling the former cricketer.

Well, a different Indian cricket team led by Shikhar Dhawan is all set to lock its horns with Sri Lanka in the upcoming limited-overs series, which will get underway on July 13. Ahead of the much-awaited series, the broadcasters released a list of commentators who would be presenting the game in different languages including Hindi, England, Telugu, Tamil and others.

While the idea of seeing the Indian cricket team playing limited-overs series after a long time excited the fans, on the other hand, there were many who weren’t too happy with the inclusion of Sanjay Manjrekar in the commentator panel and thus started trolling him on social media.

Well, as soon as the names of commentators for the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka were released, fans flooded the social media with their reactions to it.
