West Indies star batsman Shimron Hetmyer gave a career-best performance in ongoing Australia’s tour of the West Indies as he brought up his second half-century in the format.  He registered a career-best score of 61 (36), with the help of two fours and four sixes.

Hetmyer took the Australian bowlers to cleaners with his stunning shots. After having played 13 deliveries, it was in the 13th over when Hetmyer smashed his first six off Australia all-rounder Ashton Agar. The stunning six was followed by sixes against Mitchell Marsh and Adam Zampa in the next two overs.

Though his knock was laced with many amazing shots, however, one of the shots has left the fans and cricket industry stunned. The stunning shot took place on the third delivery of the 17th over when Hetnyer nailed a scoop to perfect against Australia speedster Mitchell Starc to cross the half-century mark. Surprisingly, it was a 141kmph delivery from Starc that was smashed for a six over the head of wade.

Following this, Hetmyer added a couple of boundaries to his knock, before he was dismissed in the next over. The video of the stunning shot has been going viral on the internet.
