Fans Connect Ravindra Jadeja With Mumbai Indians On His Latest Tweet

Despite being ruled out for the second ODI against West Indies, star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja didn’t shy away from flaunting his look in the India blues. And under his new post, fans speculated a move to IPL franchise Mumbai Indians!

This new post from the all-rounder is quite bizarre as well given Jadeja was confirmed to not be fit for the second ODI against West Indies, slated for Sunday, after he missed the first match on Friday due to a knee injury.

“Team India all-rounder Mr. Ravindra Jadeja has sustained an injury to his right knee and has been ruled out of the first two ODIs against West Indies,” the BCCI tweeted had tweeted.

“The BCCI Medical team is monitoring his progress and a decision on his participation in the third ODI will be taken accordingly.”

There is tension between Ravindra Jadeja and CSK

Jadeja, who was earlier named the vice-captain for this ODI series, is also unlikely to feature in the third ODI as the management wouldn’t want to risk him ahead of the 5-T20I series against Nicholas Pooran’s team.

On Saturday, the star all-rounder took to his Twitter account to post his photo in the stylish India blue attire.

“Blue addiction [India flag],” Jadeja tweeted.

Now, then, fans created a joke-fest regarding this post and got the name of Mumbai Indians involved. For it hasn’t been a secret that things aren’t all jolly between Jadeja and his current IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings.

There have been big rumours of strife between CSK and Jadeja, who led the team for 8 matches this season but stepped down mid-season. In fact, it was the all-rounder himself who gave a big hint about his upsetness with the franchise when earlier this month, while still on the England tour, Jadeja deleted all of his Instagram posts featuring CSK!

Also, some even believe that there is tension between Jadeja and skipper MS Dhoni. One major indication of this rift was when Jadeja didn’t tweet any birthday post for Dhoni on 7th July; Jadeja was also not present in the video which CSK uploaded for wishing Dhoni on his birthday while several other CSK cricketers were in it.

Then, Jadeja removed all his Instagram photos in CSK colours from the past couple of seasons, with only one, which includes Dhoni, still there from the 2020 season. Before the start of the IPL 2022, Dhoni had given the captaincy to Jadeja but the all-rounder “stepped down” mid-season owing to the team’s and his own dismal performance, handing the reins back to Dhoni.
