Fans Troll ICC With Funny Memes On World Cup Anthem Ft. Ranveer Singh

The ICC released the official World Cup 2023 anthem, titled DIL JASHN BOLE, on Wednesday, September 20, just 15 days out from the start of the tournament in Ahmedabad.

The ICC had roped in one of India’s biggest Bollywood stars, Ranveer Singh, for their official World Cup anthem. This song also included India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma. It also had a few famous social media and YouTube artists including the Flying Beast and BeYouNick.

The World Cup 2023 official anthem was sung by famous singers Pritam, Nakash Aziz, Sreerama Chandra, Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi, AKASA, and Charan. The music was composed by Pritam while the lyrics were written by Shloke Lal and Saaveri Verma. The rap was written and performed by Charan.

The anthem had a theme of a train with Ranveer Singh hogging the limelight. However, fans didn’t like the song, as it paled in comparison to the official anthems of the last three ODI World Cups, and more importantly, it was far behind in terms of evoking the passion and emotions of the fans as the ‘De Ghumake’ titled song did back in 2011.

Fans produced some hilarious memes trolling the ICC and Ranveer Singh after the official World Cup 2023 anthem was released:
