Fans React After Gautam Gambhir Called Yuvraj Singh ‘The Best White-Ball Cricketer From India’

Former Indian cricketer and world cup hero Yuvraj Singh is widely regarded as one of the best batters India produced in the limited-overs game. Wishes have been pouring on for the legendary batter as he is celebrating his 41st birthday today December 12, 2022.

Yuvi made his debut as a 19-year-old in the ICC Knockout Trophy in 2000 in Kenya and impressed everyone with his terrific performance with the bat against Australia, where he scored a brilliant 84 runs and then there were no turning backs for him. In no time he became a mainstay of the Indian middle-order batter. Apart from his batting heroics, it was the fact that he could bowl well made him a crucial player in the squad.

In his glorious career, Yuvraj played many memorable knocks and was a part of many iconic games including India’s World Cup wins in 2007 and 2011, where he played an important part in India’s win. In fact, his iconic knock in the 2007 T20 WC against England, where he smashed six sixes in an over is still etched in everyone’s memory. He also won the Player of the Tournament award in the 2011 ICC event.

He played 304 ODIs, scoring 8701 runs with 14 centuries with the best score of 150, and also picked 111 wickets with a best of 5/31. He also played 58 T20Is with 1177 runs and 8 half-centuries and the best score of 77*. 

Meanwhile, the star batter has been receiving amazing birthday wishes from all corners. From cricketers and celebrities to his fans around the world, everyone is taking to social media to wish the legendary batter on his birthday. 

Among many, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir also took to his social media and posted a special birthday wish for Yuvi. In his Tweet, Gautam shared a picture of himself and the southpaw from their playing days. Sharing the picture, Gautam hailed Yuvi as the ‘best white ball cricketer’. He wrote:
