The incident took place when a die-hard fan of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) expressed his desire for a team jersey and reached out to the franchise’s admin on Twitter, urging them to gift him a jersey. For the past 10 days, the fan had been actively tweeting at the franchise, as well as individuals like Sanjiv Goenka, Sai Kishore, and Jonty Rhodes, seeking their attention and hoping to receive a jersey from the team.

Rhodes, tired of being tagged in the fan’s posts for 10 consecutive days, thanked the fan for the support but suggested that he use his time more productively and focus on other things in life. He replied:
