New Zealand has unveiled its brand new jersey for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which is scheduled to take place in October-November in Australia. The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) shared the latest pictures of their jersey on social media to make the big announcement where a number of New Zealand played including the likes of Devon Conway, Daryl Mitchell, Martin Guptill, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult were seen wearing the new jersey.

Sharing the pictures, the Black Caps wrote: “Our shirt for the @t20worldcup in Australia is here #T20WorldCup #CricketNation #Cricket,”

The shirt design of the latest jersey has a retro look and is a combination of shirts won by the side in their early 90s. The latest design is a combination of Kiwis’ black colors with vintage grey. For the unversed, grey was a prominently present color in NZ’s jerseys in the 1990s.

Soon after New Zealand unveiled their new kit, fans on social media brutally trolled the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for not being able to produce similar sort of jerseys despite being the richest cricket board.

Check out the reactions of fans to it:

NZ a country smaller in area than a municipality in india makes far better jersey for its national side compared to Indian team sponsor makes even after spending millions. https://t.co/mNfdbttREE
