The Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl in Mumbai on Monday afternoon.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, aka Virushka, who tied the knot on December 11, 2017, had announced the news of Anushka’s pregnancy in August last year, amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Virat Kohli, who had been on the road since IPL 2020 in the UAE, went to paternity leave after the first test match against Australia in Adelaide to be there with his wife during the birth of their child. Ever since Virat Kohli returned back to the country, the fans of this power-couple were waiting for the couple to announce the big news.

On Monday, the couple gave the biggest surprise to their fans as Virat took to his social media and announced the arrival of his baby girl with a short note to his fans.

“We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.
