Rohit Sharma started his full-time India captaincy stint has started in a spectacular fashion with clean sweeps overs New Zealand, West Indies and Sri Lanka in white-ball series, followed by another white-wash over the Lankans in his first Test series as captain.

Their father uploaded the pic on Twitter and soon went viral. While Kohli fans backed their demand, Rohit Sharma fans hit back at the post and the suggestion. The children’s father who is a cricket enthusiast then clarified that that post was meant only for Test matches, adding that even KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant would form better Test skippers than Rohit.

He further underlined that Rohit gets injured ahead of crucial overseas tours and hence, he believes, shouldn’t lead the side. But, he also admitted that Sharma is a great white-ball batsman and backs him to do well in the upcoming limited-overs World Cups.

With this statement of his – trolling Rohit Sharma for his fitness and captaincy – the user further got criticised and trolled back from Rohit’s fans. He then tried to placate things by posting a picture of two fans sitting together wearing jerseys of Rohit and Kohli.

Over the years, we have seen that fans carry a lot of funny posters to the stadiums but young fans need to keep in mind that Rohit Sharma is India’s captain and they must stand behind him, at least during international matches.
