Mumbai Indians slogan is “Duniya Hila Denge Hum” which is a Hindi phrase. The English translation of it is “We will shake the world”. Mumbai, with 5 titles, have definitely shaken IPL world.

KKR slogan is “Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo Re”. It’s a Bengali phrase which is the local language of Kolkata. It’s English translation is “We will do, we will fight and we will conquer”.

CSK slogan is “Whistle Podu”. It’s a Tamil phrase which is the local language of Chennai. In English, it translates to “Blow the whistle”. The slogan asks fans to cheer for the team.

RR slogan is “Halla Bol”. It’s a Hindi phrase as the common spoken language in Rajasthan is Hindi. This slogan motivates the fans and the team to “make noise and make their presence felt”.

SRH slogan is “Orange or Nothing”. It’s related to the colour of the jersey of the franchise. The slogan suggests either the orange colour of SRH will prevail or nothing will prevail.

Delhi Capitals slogan is “O Dilli re, tu roar macha”. It’s a Hindi phrase which is the language of the national capital Delhi. The slogan asks Delhi people to “Roar and support the team”.

Punjab Kings slogan is “Sadda Punjab”. Sadda is a Punjabi word which, in English, means “our very own”. The logo of Punjab Kings motivates the players to play for their very own Punjab.

Gujarat Titans slogan is “Garjega Gujarat”. It’s a Hindi phrase and it means “Gujarat will roar” in its very first season of the IPL. Gujarat Titans are one of the two new franchises in the IPL.

Best IPL Team 2022

CSK has got a lot of experienced players in their squad and a lot of allrounders as well. They have retained their core group and they have got a great captain. They are surely a quality team.

RCB has got some really good seam bowlers and a couple of class batsmen, but they haven’t got the services of AB de Villiers anymore. They might miss their talismanic performer.

KKR is starting a new journey with a new captain. They might not be the strongest in overseas batting department, but they have got an Indian core and two wonderful mystery spinners.

Punjab Kings have assembled a very decent squad this time around with plenty of power hitters, but they might be lacking a quality Indian batsman in the middle order on slow pitches.

SRH controversially released David Warner and Rashid Khan and focused on buying utility players in the mega auction. They don’t look one of the strongest on paper at this stage.

Gujarat Titans were already struggling to assemble a balanced XI from the squad they had assembled in mega auction. With Jason Roy withdrawing, they are struggling even more.

Lucknow Super Giants are one team who seem to have all bases covered with their first choice XI, but their backups might not be the strongest among all teams. They are still a quality squad.

Mumbai Indians have a great captain in Rohit Sharma and they have again bought some real quality players in both batting and bowling department. They will continue to be a force.

Rajasthan Royals didn’t try to buy their entire core group and made a lot of new signings in the mega auction. They look a decent outfit, but not the strongest in the competition right now.

Delhi Capitals have made rapid strides in the IPL in last three years by qualifying for playoffs three times back to back. They are a very exciting team with an exciting leader in Rishabh Pant.

IPL Team Fans

Right now, it seems like the two most successful IPL teams, Mumbai Indians and CSK, have bigger fanbase than any other IPL team. However, RCB also has quite a big fanbase.

RCB is probably the most fan based team in the IPL. They haven’t won any IPL title so far, but they have still managed to keep their fans engaged with a lot of off field activities.

Most Expensive Player In IPL

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma, CSK’s allrounder Ravindra Jadeja and Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant will fetch the highest salary of 16 crore INR each in IPL 2022.

Apart from the retained players, the most expensive players in IPL mega auction were Ishan Kishan (15.25 cr), Deepak Chahar (14 cr), Shreyas Iyer (12.25 cr) and Liam Livingstone (11.5 cr).

The most expensive player that CSK bought in IPL 2022 mega auction was Deepak Chahar. The management spent 14 crore INR who is a swing bowler and lower order hitter as well.

Sri Lankan leggie Wanindu Hasaranga was RCB’s most expensive player in IPL 2022 mega auction. He was bought by RCB at 10.75 crore INR after quite a few teams placed bid for him.

Shardul Thakur was Delhi Capitals’ most expensive player in IPL mega auction as they spent a huge amount of 10.75 crore INR to secure the services of the Indian bowling allrounder.

KKR had identified Shreyas Iyer as one of their captaincy options before the mega auction and they went all out for Iyer in the auction to eventually buy him at 12.25 crore INR.

Liam Livingstone, who is one of the most popular T20 players in the world at the moment, was bought by Punjab Kings at a huge sum of 11.50 crore INR in the IPL mega auctiion.

The Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna was the most expensive player of Rajasthan Royals in IPL mega auction as the franchise bought him for a hefty sum of 10 crore INR.

The West Indies left handed batsman Nicholas Pooran, who had struggled in the IPL last season, was backed by SRH in the IPL mega auction as they bought him for 10.75 crore INR.

The former West Indies captain and one of the leading allrounders in the world, Jason Holder, was bought by Lucknow Supergiant for 8.75 crore INR in the IPL mega auction.

One of India’s emerging superstars and wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan was bought by Mumbai Indians for 15.25 crore INR. He was the most expensive player of the entire auction.

The Indian leg spinning allrounder Rahul Tewatia who proved to be a decent finisher for Rajasthan Royals in the last couple of IPL seasons was bought by Gujarat Titans for 9 crore INR.
