What’s Written On IPL Trophy: The Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to become even grander for the upcoming season as two new teams have been added making it a 10-team tournament.

The upcoming IPL 2022 season is the 15th edition of the tournament. We have seen the likes of Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir lift the IPL trophy on multiple occasions. However, still many fans don’t know what is the motto that’s inscribed on the IPL trophy in Sanskrit.

If you look closely at the IPL trophy, you will find this written on it: “Yatra Pratibha Avsara Prapnotihi”, which means “Where talent meets opportunity” – this is so apt as the IPL over the years has been the best breeding ground for young talent who get to rub the shoulders with the best in the world and get the opportunities that could catapult them in the national reckoning.

Some players such as Hardik Pandya, Varun Chakraverthy, have, in fact, got into the national team straight on the recognition earned for their performances in the IPL.

Not many of us know, motto of IPL is in Sanskrit; same is inscribed on IPL trophy as well. #IPL ?
