The 6 foot 8 inch fast bowler was an extremely difficult bowler to face as his height supplied him with unusual bounce. Combined with his fast pace, he was almost unplayable for the batsmen and thus became one of the all-time greats. There is no doubt that he could be a lethal addition to any team’s bowling attack.
Javagal Srinath
Srinath is a fast-bowling legend. He was the first Indian fast-bowler to take more than 300 ODI wickets. Srinath was India’s premier pacer, and performed his duties as the team’s bowling spearhead with great diligence. He was great under pressure, which is a great attribute required in the IPL. Srinath’s calm mind would have yielded great results in the IPL.
