Rohit Sharma has been in sensational form with the bat in the year 2017. What became the cherry to the cake was the small captaincy stint he got towards the end of the year in the absence of Virat Kohli against Sri Lanka.

This year Rohit Sharma has hit 7 ODI centuries this year which also includes his 3rd double hundred in ODIs which came in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

As a captain too Rohit Sharma got fulls marks having won the ODI series and T20 series convincingly. India won the ODI series 2-1 and in the T20 series India gave Sri Lanka a clean sweep.

ABP news he revealed this take on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Virat’s fans may not like this statement but that’s what Sandeep Patil feels.

Sandeep Patil said, “ When it comes to limited overs cricket, Rohit Sharma is ahead of Kohli.”

Now after grand success that came India’s way in the home season, the focus is now on the tough South African challenge that’s around the corner.

Sandeep Patil also said that he’s confident of India doing good on the South African tour and he also said that Virat Kohli will get some great knocks to his name oversees too.
