The complete cricketers were left stunned after the pictures of seriously injured former cricketer Mathew Hayden went viral on the internet. The former Australian cricketer lost his balance while surfing on a family holiday and sustained injuries on his forehead.

Mathew Hayden took to his Instagram account and uploaded the pictures after his accident. Apart from the head injuries, in another post he also revealed that he has fractured his C6 while C4 and C5 ligaments are torn. The pictures are very heart wrenching and disturbing.

Many cricketers and fans took flooded the social media with their best wishes for the commentator and wished for his speedy recovery. Jonty Rhodes, the former South African cricketer also commented on Mathew Hayden’s picture. However, he poked fun at the two big scars that Hayden sustained on his forehead.
