From Suresh Raina To Virender Sehwag, Here’s How Our Cricketers Paid Tributes To Doctors Battling Coronavirus

As appealed by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the whole nation came out together to pay tribute to the doctors, health workers, nurses and other medical personnel who have been working day and night selflessly against the Coronavirus pandemic across the world at 5 PM.
The Coronavirus pandemic has affected the whole world. So far, around 3 lakh people have been infected with this disease, with more than 13,000 losing their lives to it. In India, the number has crossed 360 and is rapidly increasing. In order to prevent the outspread, PM Modi declared ‘Janta Curfew’.
In his appeal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had requested everyone to come out on their balconies and doors and applaud for the medical personnel around the world for their selfless efforts as they are putting their own lives at stake to save us from the pandemic.
People came out in the balconies, roofs, and terraces of their house to pay tributes to the people associated with the healthcare department and cheered for them by ringing bells, applauding, banging utensils, playing drums and singing the national anthem.
From celebrities, cricketers to common people, everyone came out together to bring the optimistic sound of life in this difficult time. Several Indian cricketers including Virender Sehwag, R Ashwin, Suresh Raina, and many more paid their tributes by cheering for our real heroes. While Suresh Raina thanked the heroes by sharing a glimpse from his balcony, many cricketers posted thank-you messages for the heroes.
