History has been made at the Gabba! A fearless team India, which was driven by its courageous youngsters have created history at the Gabba by exhilarating a three-wicket win over Australia in the fourth and the final Test match to claim the series 2-1 and retain the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba.

The young talented Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant led the chase with his aggressive and mature knock of an unbeaten 89 runs, while Shubman Gill played a powerful knock of 91 runs that brought the momentum to the game.

Cheteshwar Pujara, on the other hand, played like a true warrior. He endured many painful blows on his body and frustrated the Australian bowlers with his mature knock of 56-run knock that he raised with a 211-ball vigil.

Earlier, chasing the target of 328 runs, team India kickstarted the game with a shaky note as they lost their talented opener, Rohit Sharma, however, Shubman Gill took the responsibility on his young shoulders as he brought the momentum back to the game with his gutsy knock. He joined hands with Pujara and both the cricketers took the game by storm.

While Shubman displayed his aggressive batting performance, Pujara stood there like a wall and took all the body blows while contributing a half-century. Later, it was Rishabh Pant’s stellar performance that helped the team India win the series with 3 wickets.
