Gautam Gambhir, the cricketer turned politician has been making a lot of news these days for his statements on cricketers and his work in the field of politics. Ever since the cricketer stepped into politics, he has been working in favor of the ordinary people. There have been many instances when he made headlines for extending his help to ordinary people.
On Wednesday, another such incident happened that stole all the limelight on social media. Gautam Gambhir took to his twitter and revealed how a girl reached out to him and sought his help after she was sexually harassed by her cricket coach.
In his tweet, Gautam Gambhir wrote how the man who harassed her is now behind the bars and the girl is getting counseled to overcome whatever she had to deal with. Gautam Gambhir also stressed that there should be tolerance for such crimes. He wrote:
“Few days ago, a girl reached out to me that her cricket coach was sexually harassing her. He is now behind bars & the girl is being counselled to overcome the ordeal. Thank Hon’ble HM @AmitShah ji & @DelhiPolice for quick response! We should have NO tolerance for such monsters!”

Talking about the same case, a senior officer in Delhi Police revealed that a case has been registered an FIR in connection with the alleged molestation of a female cricketer by her coach in southeast Delhi’s Nizamuddin area.
Earlier the girl had reached out to the cricketer via twitter and claimed that her cricket coach was “threatening me that he will destroy my career if I complain.”
