Gautam Gambhir Issues A Statement To His ‘Political’ Trolls

Pollution in Delhi has become a grave concern for the country. However, even after the supreme court’s stringent remarks and the condition of choking Delhiites, didn’t mean anything for officials of the parliamentary committee who were asked to attend the meeting to check the way to reduce the air pollution.

Parliament’s Standing Committee called the meeting on Urban Development. However, the meeting had to be canceled as the meeting was only attended by 4 MPs including Jagdambika Pal, Hussain Masoodi, CR Patil and Sanjay Singh.

The whole incident left the people angry and adding more salt to the wound, the East Delhi’s MP, Gautam Gambhir was at Indore commentating at India-Bangladesh match. Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman took to his twitter and shared a few pictures of himself with Gautam Gambhir enjoying Jalebis. Sharing the pictures he wrote:

“Kabhi pohe se teekhe, kabhi jalebi se meethe … wonderful start to the day in Indoor, where we had breakfast outdoor ?”

However, after receiving all the backlash on social media for not attending the meeting, Gautam Gambhir has now taken to his twitter and gave a solid reply to all the trollers. In his tweet, he wrote that his work will speak for itself and he should be judged for the work being done in his constituency. Sharing a long reply to the trolls, Gambhir wrote:

“My work will speak for itself! P.S. Agar mujhe gaali dene se Dilli ka pollution kam hoga to AAP jee bhar ke gaali dijiye. cc: Trolls”
