Kolkata Knight Riders who started off brilliantly, and at one time were placed at the top of the points table, is now truly staring down the barrel as far as qualifying is concerned. The team has lost their last five matches and is consistently struggling at the table. Currently, KKR is sitting at the 6th position with four wins from 10 matches. In order to stay in the competition, the team needs four more wins.
KKR’s last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad turned out to be a disastrous day as they suffered a nine-wicket defeat against SRH. The fans were left disappointed and guess what, the loss hasn’t gone well with the former skipper of the team, Gautam Gambhir, who has had memorable history with the team.
