The former Indian skipper MS Dhoni losing his cool is a very rare sight. Besides his impeccable cricketing skills, MS Dhoni is known for his cool as a cucumber and humble personality. However, there have been rare occasions when ‘Captain Cool’ has let it rip.
Recently, the former Indian cricketer and current BJP politician Gautam Gambhir and former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan opened up about the same and recalled some incidents. Gautam Gambhir revealed how on a number of occasions MS Dhoni lost his cool.

Well, during an interview with Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected’, Gautam Gambhir revealed how he saw MS Dhoni losing his cool on a number of occasions including the iconic world cup tournament of 2007. He revealed:
“People say that they have never seen him (Dhoni) lose his cool, but I have on a couple of times. It was during the 2007 World Cup and in other World Cups, when we haven’t done well,”
He added:
“He’s human and he’s bound to react as well. It’s absolutely fair enough to do that. Even at CSK, if there’s a misfield or if someone has dropped a catch.,”
However, he also admitted that MS Dhoni is a lot more cooler than him. He said:
“Yes, he’s cool, he’s probably much cooler than the rest of the other captains. Much cooler than me for sure!,”

Narrating an incident where MS lost his cool, Gautam Gambhir said:
“It was in 2006-07. During the warm-up, we had a game where the right-handed batsman would bat with the left-hand and vice-versa. After we finished the warm-up, we used to get into our practice.
He added:
“So, during the warm-ups, there were 2 teams. Once MS Dhoni was given out which he didn’t think he was. He threw his bat and made a dash to the dressing room and came late for the practice. So, he does get angry,”
