Gautam Gambhir Sends A Strong Message To His Critics

Unnati MadanBy Unnati MadanUpdated:09/02/2023No Comments2 Mins Read

Former Indian cricketer and World Cup hero Gautam Gambhir is extensively acknowledged for his truthful and straight-talking opinions on various topics ranging from cricket to politics. He is the kind of character, who never backs away after sharing his opinion. The former cricketer was last seen playing in the 2018-19 edition of the Ranji Trophy at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi and later on, he won the elections and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Ever since then, he has been vocal about all the happenings in the country. And while he has earned praises for being bold about his opinions, he has been a recipient of severe criticism as well.

Lately, the cricketer is all over the news after he compared the Indian men’s hockey achievement at Tokyo Olympics bigger than the historic 2011 World Cup win. The men’s hockey team gave a gutsy performance in the Bronze Medal match, leaving behind the disappointment of having lost the Olympic semi-final to Belgium.

Impressed with the performance of the Indian hockey team, fans on social media started slamming the former cricketer mercilessly for his remark.

Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir has finally given a solid reply to his critics. On Wednesday, he took to his Twitter and wrote a cryptic tweet, explaining how when he speaks from his mind he seems heartless and when he does things with his heart he seems thoughtless. He wrote:

“My brain has no heart. My heart has no brain. That’s why when I speak my mind I seem heartless and when I do what’s in my heart I seem thoughtless.”

Here, check out the Tweet:
