Gautam Gambhir Slams The Idea Of India Playing Against Pakistan: A cricket match between India vs Pakistan is one of the most exciting and thrilling events for the fans of both countries. The relations between both the countries are currently not on good terms. Pakistan is most likely to be frustrated by India as the BCCI might decide against not participating in the upcoming Asia Cup in 2021 in order to accommodate their own calendar.
There is a lot of debate and discussions going on between India vs Pakistan clash and India participating in the Asia Cup 2021. The latest one to give his opinion on this matter is the former Indian cricketer and Member of Parliament Gautam Gambhir.
Recently, in an exclusive interview with IANS India, Gautam Gambhir talked extensively about the Indian army, cricket, and Pakistan. During the interview, when Gautam Gambhir was asked about the ongoing talks about India vs Pakistan clash, he strongly and very clearly opposed the idea of resumption of cricket between India and Pakistan until Islamabad stops cross-border terrorism.
In his interview, Gambhir claims that our soldiers are the real heroes of the country. He believes till the time Islamabad doesn’t stop cross-border terrorism, cricket should not resume between the two countries. As per him, cricket is a very small part of our lives, and ultimately the people who are standing and protecting us, we should talk about them and when we get the opportunity we should defend them.
