GIF: Kieron Pollard’s Unbelievable Catch To Dismiss Glenn Maxwell

West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard is a very big unit, but, unlike other big cricketers, he is very athletic and covers the group very quickly. Over the years, we have seen the Big Caribbean lad take some of the most unbelievable catches on a cricket field.

In limited-overs cricket, he fields in the deep and helps his bowlers and captain and in reducing the run-flow by quickly covering the ground and not allowing the batters to covert singles into doubles. Usually, the problem with big cricketers is that they can’t get down swiftly and don’t dive around the field. But, Kieron Pollard is different. He is a giant of a man and still throws his body around very swiftly on the field.

The GIF shared below is one of the most spectacular catches Kieron Pollard has ever taken. During the third ODI between Australia and West Indies in 2013 at Manuka Oval, Canberra, Keiron Pollard took an excellent catch at deep square leg.

Maxwell played a full-blooded sweep shot that went sailing towards the square boundary and almost crossed the boundary, before the giant Pollard came charging and jumped full length to take a stunning one-handed catch. Check it out here:
