Glenn Maxwell, one of the finest batters going around, is in some sensational form off-lately. He has impressed one and all with his performances in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 2021. The Melbourne Stars captain has played some sensational knocks in the tournament and even notched up a century.
The cricketer became only the second player after Chris Lynn to smash 100 sixes in Australia’s primary T20 tournament, Big Bash League (BBL). However, this amazing video led to banter with New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham on Twitter. For the unversed, Jimmy Neesham and Glenn Maxwell share a great bond with each other and the same was visible in their recent interaction on Twitter.
Jimmy Neesham, who is known for his great sense of humour, took the opportunity to pull his former teammate’s leg. He wrote: “You got this video saved for those lonely nights @Gmaxi_32???”
The comment soon caught the attention of Glenn Maxwell, who came up with hilarious reaction to the Tweet. Maxwell came up with an even more epic response to his teammate, he wrote: “This or the videos of us during the IPL last year ? #careful”
Followed by this, Neesham also reacted by commenting: “Hahahaha”

Meanwhile, following a terrific campaign in IPL 2021, Maxwell extended his purple patch in the ongoing season of the BBL. On Wednesday, Maxwell blasts his first century in Big Bash League as he scored a remarkable 103 off just 57 deliveries to help his side post a massive 177/5 on the board in their allotted 20 overs, however, his knock went in vain as the opposition chased down the target successfully.
