Harbhajan Singh Posted A Heartfelt Tweet For SRK After 2 KKR Players Test Positive For COVID

Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is currently plying his trade for Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday took to his official Twitter account and thanked the Kolkata Knight Riders and its co-owner Shah Rukh Khan and CEO Venky Mysore for taking care of the KKR family. His tweet came after two players of Kolkata Knight Riders tested positive for Coronavirus.

Well, ahead of KKR’s clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday, the team received a big blow as two players of KKR tested positive for COVID-19. In a major score, the game between RCB and KKR has been called off because of the same reason.

As per a report, pinner Varun Chakravarthy and pacer Sandeep Warrier returned positive for the virus after which the game between KKR and RCB was rescheduled. The news of the same was also confirmed by the BCCI later. A BCCI official announced:

Varun and Sandeep tested positive and that made the RCB camp wary of the situation. The game is set to be postponed”

Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh took to his official Twitter handle and posted a heart-touching tweet for SRK and Venky Mysore, who is the Managing Director of Kolkata Knight Riders. In his tweet, Harbhajan thanked SRK and Venky for being there with the team in this tough situation. He wrote:

Meanwhile, apart from this, three members from the Chennai Super Kings camp have tested positive for COVID-19. However, those three members don’t include any CSK players. According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, CSK chief executive officer Kasi Viswanathan, bowling coach L Balaji and a bus cleaner have tested positive for Covid-19.
