Last night’s Mumbai Indians won their first match of the league beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 46 runs. The match was held at Wankhade, Mumbai, thus the victory was even more special for the players of Mumbai Indians as they were playing in their home ground.
In the first innings, the players of Mumbai Indians gave an amazing performance and scored 213 runs in 20 balls.
In the second innings, the match was getting more exciting by every passing delivery but unfortunately an incident stunned everyone and left everyone in a state of shock.
Ishan Kishan, the wicket keeper of Mumbai Indians, who is also the captain of Under-19 cricket team got severely injured as the ball hit badly on his eye. The blow was so sudden and bad, that he fell on the ground.
The ball was delivered by Mumbai Indians player, Hardik Pandya. This incident gave everyone a little heart attack. Everyone who were present at the stadium started chanting his name.
The complete social media started posting heartfelt messages for Ishan. Now, Hardik Pandya has took to twitter and apologized to Ishan in a very sweet post. Here’s what he tweeted:
