Three years back, on the same day, Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder made his ODI debut. He came as a hope for the national cricket team by solving their issue of having a fast bowler in their team. Three years after, Hardik Pandya has not just proved the selectors right but has also won the hearts of one and all with his exceptional talent.

Today, recollecting the memories Hardik Pandya got nostalgic and posted an old picture of himself from the same day, where he can be seen receiving his maiden cap from the former Indian all-rounder Kapil Dev. The picture was taken in Dharamsala when New Zealand toured India in 2016.

Calling it a memorable journey, Hardik Pandya wrote:

“Taking a moment to remember my ODI debut three years ago today … what a memorable journey it’s been so far with #TeamIndia. Every time I step onto the field, I realize a dream I had as a kid to play for my country.. there’s no greater honour for me ??❤”
