Team India star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is famous for his flamboyant style on and off the field. On Sunday, during the 1st of the ongoing 3-match T20I series, he grabbed the attention of cricket fans on social media with his gesture towards the Sri Lankan player.

Hardik Pandya won everyone’s hearts as he gifted his bat to Sri Lankan Chamika Karunaratne. Well, before the match kickstarted in Colombo, Hardik asked his teammate Ishan Kishan to bring his bat. He then gifted his bat to Chamika Karunaratne, who was extremely happy with the gesture of the Indian all-rounder. Before the match began, Chamika was also seen doing shadow practice with Hardik Pandya’s bat.

Besides this, Pandya grabbed all the attention of the cricket fans after he was apparently spotted singing the Sri Lankan national anthem before the start of the first T20I. Yes, you read that right.

During the customary singing of national anthems of both countries, Hardik was spotted humming the Sri Lankan national anthem. The video of the same has been going crazily viral on social media, with fans and people from the cricketing fraternity showering praises on the Indian all-rounder.

Meanwhile, talking about the performance of Hardik Pandya in the 1st T20I, the swashbuckling all-rounder failed to give the best of his abilities during the game. The cricketer has found himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling for his sluggish batting. The all-rounder was dismissed after scoring just 10 runs off 12 balls.

However, his poor show didn’t come to end there, he later dropped a sitter in the 2nd over of the game in the form of Avishka Fernando.
