Harsha Bhogle Shared A Special Tweet For Suryakumar Yadav After His Powerful Knock Against SA

INSANE! That was some crazy performance from India’s middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav as he wreaked havoc against South African bowlers at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati during the ongoing 2nd T20I match. SKY continued his brilliant run in the shortest format of the game as he played one of the best knocks of his career against South Africa.

Hailed as India’s Mr. 360 Surya once again impressed everyone with his easy sweep shots, superb wrist work, and capacity to knock the ball all over the ground. Well, as the game began in Guwahati, the platform was set by the openers as they got India off to a flying start. However, both the cricketers fell in quick successions but then came the magical stand between Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli.

While Surya was seen in his natural attacking mode, on the other hand, Virat played second fiddly. Both the players smashed the South African bowlers to all the corners of the ground and took the score of the Indian side to 237 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav played a stunning knock of 61 runs off just 22 balls. His amazing knock was laced with 5 fours and 5 sixes. During his knock, he also became the third fastest Indian batter to go past the 1000-run mark in the shortest format of the game.

For the unversed, Virat is the fastest Indian batter to get 1000 runs in T20Is as he took only 27 innings to reach the milestone.SKY is the 9th Indian batter to acheive this feat as he joined the likes of Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, and Suresh Raina in the elite list.

Meanwhile, social media is already flooded with amazing reactions for Surya after his stunning knock. From cricketers and experts to fans, everyone took to social media to hail the SKY. Among many, popular commentator and analyst, Harsha Bhogle also took to his social media and wrote a special tweet for the destructive batter. He wrote:

“Just can’t take your eyes off the game when Sky is batting. This form is unreal. There isn’t a part of the ground he doesn’t reach.”
