Harsha Bhogle Praised The Kiwis But Got Trolled Badly

Harsha Bhogle Praised The Kiwis But Got Trolled Badly: The Indian cricket team is currently locking its horns against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand cricket team in the final clash of the ongoing World Test Championship at the Southampton.

New Zealand, who have a 91% success rate with catches in the slip cordon, put up a brilliant show with their performance on-field. Impressed with their performance, Indian popular commentator Harsha Bhogle took to his twitter and hailed New Zealand cricketers for their brilliance in the slips. He wrote:

“These Kiwis don’t drop anything in the slips….”

However, moments after Harsha Bhogle, the New Zealand side made a crucial mistake. While Trent Boult was en-route celebrating Ravindra Jadeja’s edge to the slips, Tim Southee made a mistake by dropping the catch of Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in the slips. The catch turned out to be costly for them as Jadeja went on to face 53 deliveries scoring 15 runs. Infact, the mistake left the left-arm pacer Trent Boult, with him having a go at fellow pacer Time Southee, for dropping the simplest of takes on Day 3.

Meanwhile, the tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with hilarious reactions from the fans on it.  There were many who asked Harsha to keep praising the New Zealand cricketers, in order to jinx them.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on this:

Talking about the game, Virat Kohli-led Team India gave a target of 217 runs after first innings on Day 3. It would be interesting to see whether team India would be able to able to restrict the Kiwis from chasing the target.
