Harsha Bhogle Took A Subtle Dig At ‘Angry’ Virat Kohli Fans: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are two of the biggest superstars of the cricket industry. Both the cricketers have been dominating the cricket world with their batting performances for nearly a decade now.  The experts and fans have been busy comparing these two modern legends. Time and again, fans on social media are seen indulging in fan wars and debates.

Popular commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle recently slammed the angry fans on Virat Kohli, who lashed out on him for praising Rohit Sharma.

It all started after Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs on Tuesday after a nail-biting thriller. Praising Rohit’s captaincy, Harsha took to his twitter and claimed the reason why cricketers grow under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Harsha wrote:

“When a bowler (Rahul Chahar) says my captain (Rohit Sharma) sometimes has more confidence in me than I do in myself, you understand why players grow in that team. @mipaltan”

Soon the tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from the fans on it. However, the tweet didn’t go down well with the fans of Virat Kohli, who slammed Harsha left, right, and center for his tweet praising Rohit.

Later, Harsha took to his twitter and expressed how he was disheartened by some of the reactions from the fans on it. Harsha wrote:

“It is quite sad that praising someone can be construed as attacking someone else. I am sure we are better than that. Been disheartened by some of the dialogue on my twitter responses.”
