The Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been receiving praises from all corners after he once again came to India’s rescue after he played a crucial knock-on on day 3 of the ongoing 1st test match against England.

Time and again, Ravindra Jadeja has played some crucial knocks and has saved the day for his team. On Friday, the fans witnessed something similar. Jadeja saved the day for team India by putting his batting and sword-fighting skills on display as he scored his 16th half-century in Test matches against England.

The Indian cricket team started the day on a good note. The openers — KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma, gave the team a solid kickstart. However, soon Rohit Sharma was sent back to the pavilion, following which, the Indian top-order faced a collapse as the team found themselves four down in no time.

When things started to look ugly, Ravindra Jadeja came to India’s rescue. He joined hands with KL Rahul, and together, they put on a stellar show when team India was trailing with 38 runs behind England’s total. Ravindra Jadeja took time to settle down and let Rahul dictate terms before he got his eyes in the game.

The duo formed an amazing partnership with each other and scored a 60-run partnership and took their side into the lead.

Meanwhile, social media was soon flooded with amazing reactions from the fans, who were left in awe of Ravindra Jadeja’s brilliance with the bat. From cricketers, experts to fans, everyone was all praises for the stunning knock played by Jadeja.

Among many,  popular commentator Harsha Bhogle, also took to his Twitter and dedicated a tweet to Jadeja. In his tweet, he hailed Jadeja and explained why having him in the team is a luxury. He wrote:

“Over the last couple of years, and especially today, @imjadeja has looked a batsman. To have someone like him coming at no 7 is a luxury.”
