Harsha Bhogle Wrote A Special Tweet For Gautam Gambhir On His Birthday

Former India opener and world cup hero Gautam Gambhir is celebrating his 41st birthday today(October 14). He is hailed as one of the most complete batsmen of his time. He had a long career with the Indian cricket team. The disastrous batter is known for his match-winning knocks in India’s title victories in the finals of the  2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup. 

Gambhir played his last game for the Indian cricket team in 2016 and announced his retirement from the game two years later. Gambhir is a full-time commentator now, Gambhir is also associated with Lucknow Super Giants as their mentor. 

As Gambhir celebrates his 41st birthday, social media has been buzzing since morning with several former cricketers and fans coming up with amazing birthday messages and tributes for the legendary batter.

Popular commentator and cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle also took to his Twitter and posted a special birthday message for Gautam Gambhir. In his Tweet, Harsha hailed Gambhir as a tough and gutsy cricketer. He wrote: “Wishing @GautamGambhir  a very happy birthday. Gutsy, tough cricketer; his heart is always in the right place for Indian cricket.”

Yuvraj Singh, who was named the player of the tournament of the 2011 World Cup, also took to his Twitter and wished his former teammate with a very special tweet. He wrote:

“Wishing a very Happy Birthday to my dear brother @GautamGambhir – a champion in every sense! Lots of love GG. Hope to see you soon,” wrote Yuvraj.

Former India cricketer and left-handed batter, Suresh Raina who was also a part of the 2011 World Cup winning team, called Gambhir “a gracious human being” while wishing him on his birthday. He wrote:

“Wishing @GautamGambhir all the love and success on his Birthday today! A true friend and a gracious human being. Happy Birthday brother, have a great day and a fulfilling year ahead.”
