Legendary Indian cricketer and batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is celebrating his 49th birthday today. He will be celebrating his special day with the Mumbai Indians‘ squad in the bio-bubble as he is the mentor of the five-time IPL champions.
Wishes have been pouring in from all corners of the world, with several, fans, experts, and cricketers, coming up with amazing messages and tributes for the legendary batter.
Among many, Mumbai Indians also joined the bandwagon and came up with something special for him. Mumbai Indians via their official social media handle shared a video, wherein all the youngsters wished him on his birthday. From Hrithik Shokeen, Aryan Juyal, N Tilak Varma, Dewald Brevis, to Rahul Buddhi, several youngsters from the team wished Tendulkar on his birthday. However, it was the special birthday wish from his son Arjun Tendulkar that stole all the attention on social media.
While others expressed how they feel grateful to be a part of the same franchise as Sachin, Arjun Tendulkar thanked his father for everything his father has done for him. He wrote: “I would like to wish you a very happy birthday. And, enjoy your day and thank you for everything you have done for me throughout my life,”
In this video, young talent Hrithik Shokeen also echoed the emotions of most Indian cricket fans in his message for Tendulkar. He said:
“When I met him for the first time, I reached for his feet. But he stopped me and said, ‘Don’t do that. Don’t touch my feet’. But for me, he is God. I have been seeing him ever since I was a small child,”
