Batting maestro Virat Kohli is known for his flamboyant nature. From motivating the Indian squad on-field to interacting with the crowd during the games, Virat’s energy on the field is contagious. He never fails to steal the limelight because of his amazing fan interaction when he takes the field, especially when it comes to a Test match.

As the ongoing second Test match between India and Sri Lanka observed a  100 percent crowd capacity, Virat was seen in his elements. For the unversed, the Bengaluru crowd reuniting with their adopted hero Virat Kohli, who has been playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL since the inception of the cash-rich league.

Kohli received immense love from the fans at the stands on his return to the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Not just Virat Kohli, but the fans present at the stadium remembered Mr.360 degree – AB de Villiers, by chanting his name at the top of their lungs.

Former South African batter was one of the key heroes of the RCB squad during his playing career and was a part of the incredible duo with Virat. Both the cricketers had given many memorable performances, playing for the red and gold team.

Therefore, when the fans chanted “ABD, ABD!”, Virat Kohli reciprocated in style. He obliged the fans as he shadow-batted a reverse sweep while fielding in the slips. Virat’s reaction sent the fans into a frenzy.

Meanwhile, the duo of Virat and AB will be missed badly as this will be for the first time in over a decade that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be without the services of the now-retired South African star batter AB de Villiers when the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League begins. But there are chances that AB de Villiers could reunite soon with the Bangalore-based franchise, but this time as a mentor.
