India vs Australia 2017: Australia’s off-spinner Nathan Lyon became the highest wicket taker for Australia in Test cricket against India, after his 8-for in the first innings of the second Test. Lyon stunned India’s batting unit with his turn and bounce at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

After his record-breaking performance, Nathan Lyon spoke about how important it is to take Virat Kohli’s wicket because he is “snake’s head”.

“Virat is a world class batter so we expect him to bounce back. But he is the head of the snake, to put it in Dale Steyn’s terms, and if you can take that, the body will fall away. It was pretty pleasing to take Virat’s wicket,” Nathan Lyon said after Day 1 of the second Test.

India’s skipper Virat Kohli isn’t the one to hold back and his presser after the second Test was an entertaining on watch. Kohli first took on the Australian captain and didn’t mince his words while criticising his controversial DRS-gate. Kohli also replied to Nathan Lyon’s ‘snake’ remark and said “the snake can sting from a lot of directions here.”
